The University Band is an outstanding ensemble consisting primarily of non-majors from throughout the university and music majors performing on secondary instruments. The University Band is overseen by Dr. Chester Phillips and is conducted by graduate students in the Master of Music in Wind Band Conducting[PDF] degree program. Audition is for seating purposes only and the ensemble is open to any student with prior instrumental experience. This ensemble rehearses on Tuesday evenings in the Spring semester and gives one concert per year.
