The Daily Routine

The Routine is divided into 6 segments.
Depending upon your strengths and weaknesses at any given time,
you will spend more or less time in each segment.
Obviously, you will spend more time
in the segments where you are the WEAKEST.
We all need to develop the courage
and the discipline to practice the things we can't do well.
The 6 Main Segments of the Daily Routine
are as follows. These should be studied and played in order:
Part One: "Warm-up"
Part Two:"Slow Lip Slurs"
Part Three: "Articulation/Tonguing"
Part Four: "Fast Lip Slurs/Flexibility"
Part Five: "Developing High Range"
Part Six: "Warm-down"
Supplemental
Exercises
(as
"periodic maintenance", these should be added to the
Routine about twice a week)
